We’ve long admired the waves that Pasteur Street Brewing have made in the burgeoning Vietnamese craft beer scene. The team at Pasteur St are renowned for combining unique Vietnamese ingredients with modern craft brewing know-how. Inspired by Pasteur Street’s flagship Pomelo IPA, we’ve collaborated to brew a bold west coast style Mandarin IPA utilising locally grown Queensland mandarin.

Vitals:

ABV: 6.5%
Hops: Eclipse, Talus, Centennial, Warrior.
Malt: Pale, Wheat, Caramalt.
FG: 2.5
EBC: 14
IBU: 55
Yeast: US-05
pH: 4.2 
Fruit: Mandarin.

Paired with some classic citrus forward hop varieties from the US and Australia, this IPA pours with an orange hue and is bursting with notes of juicy mandarin, pine and orange. A subdued malt profile provides a platform for the Mandarin and hops to shine. The bright citrus profile is complemented by assertive bitterness and a clean, dry finish.
