As we wrapped up our first year at Ballistic Beer Co we looked back at the insane year it's been and where it all began!! As all good breweries should start, Ballistic Beer Co’s origin lay in the celebrations after the January 2014 Ashes when Australia had a clean sweep of the Poms. From what was just set out to be a beer filled day, it very quickly turned into a beer filled future. Having opened our doors in early 2017, we are extremely excited about what we have achieved just in our first year.
Our achievements are due to the support of the local community and wider Brisbane communities, the delicious beer created by our brewing team and the efforts of the rest of the team that work behind the scenes to ensure Brisbane is serviced with the best beer possible!
Here are some our 2017 highlights:
- Won 4 gold medals for our beers
- Nominated for Best Bartender and Best Brewer at the Beeries
- Grew from just Lachy and David to more than 15 team members
- Released 20 different beers
- Put 2 of our best-selling beers into cans
